Description: Kuwait National Day

On 25th of February 2011, marks the 50th national day of Kuwait together with its Liberation Day from Iraq (1991) the following day. For this, Google has once again replaced their logo with a doodle on Google Kuwait. And I mean, once again. This is because, a doodle for the celebration was released too last year but with some accidental event. Last year, Google mistakenly released the Kuwait National Day doodle on Kuwait's Googlesearch page one month earlier and it was on the page for several minutes before it was noticed by users and they had reported it to Google. Following this, Google has came out with a apologize post on the web saying sorry for their mistake, but nevertheless, they compliment Kuwait as being the only country featuring two doodles at the same year last year.

As for this year's celebration doodle, there are not much of different from the last year since it features the same flag color motif on the Google letters. However, the only change is the change in the letter "o" and "l". How is that? Lets see the difference. Below is the doodle for the year 2010.
While this doodle up there is the latest released by Google on 25th of February, 2011.
Spot the difference? Yeap, as I said before, the changes between letter "o" and "l" while the other motif can be ignored or perhaps of the same concept. The changes involved the Kuwait Towers which in each year has act as the letter replacement. In 2010, they replaced the letter "l" while in 2011, the two spheres of the "two towers" have replaced both the 2 "o" letters in the Google logo. But this years' doodle is rather more closer look for the audience compared to the last one. Plus you can see the palm trees on the right and left bottom of the doodle. This suggest the closer view of the Kuwait Towers in real life. You dont believe it? See this photo below. Am I right? Oh, you can also see all those features in the doodle which are the towers, palm trees and the flag in the picture below.

As for the towers, they are the main attraction among the locals and foreign visitors as they are consisting of three towers with the main tower is 187 meter height having a restaurant upon it as well as being the water tower. It also have a Viewing Sphere rises up 123 meter above the sea level. It is the famous landmark of the oil country which is situated at the heart of the country in Kuwait City.
